The Handy Strap came about after Spud of Spud, Inc. observed a lifter doing one-arm pushdowns with just the cable and carabiner. The Handy Strap is an improvement upon this style of lifting.
The straps come as a pair, but each once can be used to do single-arm training or two-hand back, triceps, biceps, etc. Each strap features a mid point that the thumb, index, or pinky finger can wrap around and brace/support off of where the strap is sewn.
Additionally, the ring at the bottom provides another base of support from the bottom of the hand. This design feature allows the user to load more weight and offer many more training opportunities than the cable/carabiner can.
Varieties:
- Standard, with a smaller delta ring
- Larger O-ring style, which yields a larger brace point for the bottom of the hand
