The Football Upper Strap was originally a one-off custom strap made for the Iowa University Football strength coach, where it got it's nickname: "The Reins." Spud of Spud, Inc. liked the concept so much that it was incorporated as a standard product.
It's been called the Reins because it is simply an extra long upper body strap with a one-layered upper body, as opposed to two-layered (handles remain two-layered for comfort and added longevity). It can be used for all the standard upper body sled work, or combined with a harness for tug-of-war style training. Can also be used for sled drags and car/truck pulls, as the added length makes the pulls even more challening.
Overall length at 11'-6".
